Up Property acquired this asset and converted the failing existing retail tenancy into a new refurbished premium office investment. Located in the heart of the Geelong CBD, within walking distance to the Geelong train station, this property comprises a total building area of 1,800sqm.
Up Property secured both The Geelong Advertiser and Barwon Health as major tenants for the two-level office asset. The complete refurbishment included a new façade, an oversize central lightwell designed to flood both floors with an abundance of natural light, modern office fitouts and a new lobby with new lift and end-of-trip facilities for staff.
During the negotiation of the lease agreement, we found the Up Property team to be proactive, solutions-focussed and honest in their communication. Our proposed changes and requirements were discussed openly and resolved to each party’s satisfaction.
